My 11yr Jack Russel gets 1 pouch wet food (10.5 gm protein) How much complete diet kibble should I add daily please?

Hi, could you please point me in the right direction to find the rules for wording on labels by manufacturers, with regards to the word "food". I understand that in the US they have the 95-25-3 rule, but I'd like to find the rules for UK. Thanks.

Hello fellow dog parents. Ive got a 5 month old plummer terrier which is basically a modified Jack Russell. She's been treated for fleas by the vets, but ahe scratches as if she has them. Her toilet motions aren't regularly solid And I think shes on the thin side. Ive only had her a month now. I feed her wet food mixed with complete dry food. I want to to get her new food but really can't afford the big sacks for like£60 in one go. Any advice would be welcome please. Take Care

Hi, I hope your puppy has settled somewhat. A dog can take up to six months to settle into a new situation, new food etc. Just keep going. The scratching could be "the new situation" but I use a lady called Tracy Brind who you can find at canine-senses.newzlenler.com. She helped me with my dog and a skin condition he had. Have a look at her page and read about what she does. Tracy is brilliant. Good luck.

My vet has said my cockerpoo is overweight and recommends halving her daily food immediately. Is this a safe way to loose weight or should we reduce her food gradually? She is 3 years old neutered and eats AVA dried food for cockerpoos.

Hi

We have a rescue Pug x. I was told he has a 1/3rd of a can of meat and dried. Ive taken him off the meat because he was loose with his poo. It is a lot better but he is full of gas more than usual. We have to have candles and plug-ins on most of the time as it is so bad. Woud like some advice what to try please...

I Actually read the whole article which is unusual for me as most are boring and state the obvious.
