Where it all began...
We are a family run business that created Purraw through the love we have for cats.
Being a highly reputable breeder of the British shorthair for over 13 years, I was always striving to give my cats the very best I could, considering the food you feed your cat is one of the mostcrucial parts of your cats health this is something I knew I wanted to progress with, we wanted togive our kittens the best start to their lives from the very beginning.
Most raw pet food you’ve likely to have seen is aimed at a “dogs” raw food & its often mistaken that the dog's raw food is the same for cats & whilst the composition is similar, cats & dogs havedifferent needs.
Purraw isn’t 13 years old yet, so I'm sure your wondering what I fed my cats up until this time and the answer is raw but believe me, we tried many brands and this is what inspired me to create our raw.
We loved the benefits a raw diet brought to our cats including; Improved dental hygiene, Glossy coats, Body conditions and smaller less smelly faces, but I was totally fed up with the inconsistency, some had too high bone content, some to largely minced etc.
So this is where Purraw was created, because Purraw is aimed just at cats only, we carefully selected ingredients to create recipes that meet all the nutritional requirements needed to support their growth and wellbeing.
We chose proteins that mimic what a cat would eat in the wild, we mince to a one size blend that is suitable for kittens & cats.
