Pets Nature GmbH was founded in June 1999 by Martin Schupp with a great deal of idealism and the conviction that a clear corporate philosophy, high quality standards, and entrepreneurial success can go hand in hand. Christian Numsen joined Pets Nature in 2002.

Over the years, they worked together to develop the company into an established player in the German pet food trade, but without losing sight of their original principles. From the very beginning, the focus has been on carefully selected, high-quality food, competent and friendly customer service, and fast, reliable shipping.

In order to consistently uphold these values in the future, Pets Nature has been managed by a four-member executive board since January 1, 2026:
In addition to Martin Schupp and Christian Numsen, Dennis Vidal (marketing, sales, product development, and HR) and David Bäuerle (logistics, purchasing, customer service, IT, and HR) have joined the management team.

This structure lays the foundation for catz finefood® to continue standing for quality, responsibility, and reliability in the future.
